Memorial Sloan Kettering is seeking to hire alicensed Physical Therapist (PT)to join our team inUniondale, NYat our new MSK Nassau facility.
At MSK, we offer world-class training within our rehabilitation service focusing on opportunities to develop innovative, therapeutic programs for a diverse patient population. Our Rehabilitation Therapy team has the opportunity to help patients throughout all phases of treatment to regain their functional independence and improve quality of life. Patient-centered treatment, individualized care, and best practice is what MSK therapists provide with each interaction.
Provide quality physical therapy services to adult patients with lymphedema utilizing evidenced-based therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, including the patient and their family, to ensure optimal patient care is achieved throughout the entire outpatient episode
Document all clinical activities, and maintain statistical records per department guidelines
Provide mentorship to colleagues through various teaching opportunities such as co-treatments, special interest groups, multi-disciplinary patient rounds and in-services
Engage in projects and activities to advance professional development
New York State Licensure required
Minimum of 3 years clinical practice as licensed PT with Doctorate of Physical Therapy (tDPT or DPT) preferred
Lymphedema certification required
Ability to complete orientation in NYC (Midtown Manhattan)
Hours vary between 7:30a-6:30p, M-F (subject to change)
