Job Description

Scheduled to open in 2019, MSK Nassau will be a freestanding outpatient facility located in Uniondale, Long Island. The new facility will allow us to offer the most advanced cancer care services closer to home for patients residing in Nassau and Queens. Similar to other ambulatory sites on Long Island, Nassau will offer a variety of oncology services and treatments including radiation therapy.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Therapists to join the growing radiation oncology team.

You Will:

  • Administer radiation oncology treatments according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription under a minimum of supervision

  • Keep accurate daily records of treatments administered

You Are:

  • Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

  • Approachable – someone who is comfortable with diverse groups of people and able to make others comfortable with you.

  • An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.

  • Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals.

You Need:

  • Graduate of an A.M.A. approved 2-year training program in radiation therapy technology or its equivalent is required.

  • A.R.R.T. registered or eligible for registration in radiation therapy technology with requirement to become registered in 8 months OR 2 exam sittings.

  • Current New York license is required.

  • Ability to travel and work at the Uniondale and Commack locations.
