Job Details:

Knowledge and support of all systems in and out of the Operating Room. This includes computer operating systems, hardware, printers, laptops, mobile devices, network, wifi, RFID, digital video recording systems and any technology that is introduced into the environment. Individual must be proactive and identify potential problems before they occur. Downtime must be minimized.

Diagnose and resolve problems promptly to minimize down time. These problems may require interaction with vendors and other support services. Individual must work with problem until issues are completely resolved. Individual must provide temporary solutions as warranted in order to maintain proper functioning of the environment. Individual will manage spare parts inventory and supplies in order to repair problems and return equipment to proper working order promptly.

Support the various components of the complex integrated environment in the Operating Room. Individual must be familiar with all systems and ensure that all parts are working as designed. Any changes or addition to the environment must be fully documented.

Respond to calls to support desk. Create and manage help tickets. Document and properly close tickets.

Work as a member of a project team. Ensure all project tasks are completed on a timely basis. Report issues or delays on any aspect of the project task.

Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related field

2-4 years Information Systems, Operating Room or other medical environment experience
