You Will: The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting the financial responsibilities of MSK’s Operational Excellence Office. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Quantify the value of, correlate, and integrate operational improvements deployed across the clinical enterprise into the Cash Flow and Budget processes.
Serve as a liaison to the Financial Planning group responsible for overall management of MSK’s Cash Flow Model and annual Operating Budget.
Provides broad support and guidance to stakeholders at all levels across the enterprise by supporting financial analytics related to the institutional project portfolio.
Develops and maintains tracking and validation models for cash flows across a disparate and complex set of projects spanning clinical and operational functions.
Performs ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support the institutional project portfolio and inquiries from the Executive Leadership team across the enterprise.
Assists to develop templates, methodology, targets and assessments for scoring and tracking financial results over various durations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA highly preferred.
4-7 years of related experience in Finance; Experience working with large healthcare, enterprise project portfolios and financial and resource forecasting highly desirable.
Experience in Project Management, Process Improvement, Change Management and/or Lean Accounting methodologies highly preferred; Certification a plus.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications (Access and Excel).
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (such as IBM Cognos, Python); Experience with Tableau and SQL preferred.#LI-MA1
