MSK is seeking a Software Asset Manager to join our Information Center Team. In this role, you will track, evaluate and manage a wide variety of software licenses using the SNOW SAM solution. Furthermore, you will track licensing and usage, including but not limited to server, device, telephony, storage, middleware, database, business, desktop, and reporting type software.

Handle multiple license types, software suites, entitlements, upgrade and downgrade of licenses, management of unallocated software licenses, software counts for reconciliations and software discovery models for normalization.
Check compliance to reconcile license usage to plan for renewals
Track purchase records determining license compliance
Support software governance policies, work with departments to maximize license and maintenance value
Provide supplier management for purchase history, entitlement, and license usage determination and service level management
Provision approvals Business organization and user entitlement management
Work with Software Distribution team to add SCCM- Discovery job data into SNOW database
Work with Server team to advise on deployment models for most efficient, cost effective licensing
Actively participate in software compliance audits
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
4-7 years experience with contracts management
Strong experience with electronic catalogs, e-procurement, and e-payment systems
