The Learning & Organization Development Department (L&OD) has an exciting new senior consultant individual contributor opportunity that will be instrumental in our organization’s future success. L&OD provides consulting services to enhance and improve organizational, departmental, and individual performance. Lead the design and delivery of a variety of leadership development interventions to guide clients in creating the context and circumstances that facilitate MSK’s success
Consult with sponsors, leaders, and colleagues to develop a vision for leadership programs and interventions that address underlying issues and define desired outcomes
Provide direction and leadership, from conception to evaluation, for new and existing leadership development interventions and initiatives across a complex, matrixed organization
Coach and support clients in the use of proven developmental methods to positively affect performance, culture, and the success of key organizational initiatives
Provide consultation and support to other MSK colleagues in order to define the function of leadership in achieving various desired outcomes
Design and facilitate leadership programs, and provide executive and developmental coaching interventions to help leaders work more effectively
Use multiple instructional design options and learning methodologies (e.g., classroom, online, blended, distance learning methods) to develop creative and innovative solutions
Stay abreast of new thought leadership and methodologies in leadership development, OD, change, and management development through research and networking with external companies and vendors
Master’s degree in Organization Psychology/Development/Leadership, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline
8+ years of visionary experience in leadership development, and/or one or more of: organization development, change management, management development
