Do you want to use your media & advertising skills to contribute to our mission here at Memorial Sloan Kettering? We have an exciting new opportunity for aSenior Associate, Media Strategy and Planningto join MSK's Marketing and Communications Team. As a key member of the Marketing team,and reporting to the Director, Media Strategy and Planning,you will be instrumental in pushing forward cross-channel paid media strategies and digital marketing efforts in support of MSK’s consumer advertising campaigns. MSK consumer advertising seeks to drive awareness and active consideration of MSK’s superior cancer-care. Asthe Senior Associate, you will influence the development and implementation of impactful and engaging media strategies with an eye to digital and help facilitate alignment and integration across Marketing and Communications.
Support the Director in providing media perspective and recommendations for media plan strategies and cross-organizational initiatives.
Analyze historical and current campaign results to optimize learning and ensure continuous improvement of digital media.
Work closely with media agency and creative marketing team/creative agency to ensure digital investments are being maximized and deliver on KPIs.
Stay informed on digital marketplace and advertising technology developments.
Support development and execution of SEM strategy with media agency, including developing and refining SEM campaigns based on internal priorities and performance.
Collaborate with SEO/MSK digital team on organic search performance in relation to SEM tactics.
Support development and execution of paid social strategy with media agency, including identifying content to promote, applying learnings from past campaign performance, and alignment with organic social team.
Work closely with internal Marketing and Editorial teams to steward custom content deliverables (print advertorials, native digital articles, etc.).
Help ensure timely delivery of assets and materials to media agency / vendors for all sponsorship programs.
Evaluate and execute new paid and value add media opportunities.
Assist the Director with day-to-day media agency relationship management and evaluation of media agency reporting.
Knowledgeable in the principles of media and advertising, with a strong understanding of thedigital media landscape (including programmatic, OTT, display, video, mobile).
Experienced with SEM/SEO and Paid Social marketing, including knowledge of advertising best practices.
An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.
Strategic and analytical;A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Adept at creating partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals.
Bachelor’s Degree with 4-7 years of relevant media experience
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four years of job-related work experience can be accepted.#LI-POST
