Job Details:

The Department of Health Informatics is seeking a Research Coordinator, DHI Projects . This newly created role is an ideal next-step for Physician Office Assistants, Session Assistants, or Research Study Assistants who want to learn more about project management. The role focuses on planning and coordinating informatics-related research and operational studies, assisting with regulatory processes, data collection, data analysis, and the preparing of scientific abstracts, manuscripts, and grants.

You Will:

  • Manage aspects of research-related DHI programs and projects.

  • Develop project plans defining deliverables and resources required for successful and seamless execution.

  • Manage tasks to achieve established goals, and escalating issues/concerns to the Operations Manager.

  • Adapt to changing demands and proactively anticipates implications of changes to the plan and meeting deliverables.

  • Work with the ACHIO to plan and execute an informatics research program for the Division of Health Informatics.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the ACHIO and as needed by the Operations Manager.

  • Ensure that all appropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations are followed throughout the course of a research project, procurement of new software, and databases.

  • Assists in the creation & maintenance of IRB Protocols

  • Setting up and running focus groups

  • Have the opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects:

  • Secured Texting Platform (Voalte) – Will be running reports and tracking impact per department.

  • MSK Engage (Patient Report Outcomes) – Coordinate efforts to run studies & Data maintenance/storage/security

  • Care Team Tools

You Are:

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Sciences, Liberal Arts, or Health Administration.

  • Experience in clinical research and other applicable research investigation is preferred.

  • Minor Project Management experience preferred.

  • Strong listening skills and strong verbal communication.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle confidential information, and make independent decisions.
