Job Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering is seeking aProject Managerto join our dynamic Residential Real Estate Management team. The position handles all aspects of capital projects, provides leadership to our residential maintenance request team with a keen customer service focus. This financially savvy person will lead the divisions procurement ensuring corporate guidelines compliance and adherence to budgets.

You will:

  • Collaborate with A/E professionals to develop project specifications, lead and create project plans to include timelines, budgets, and compliance to NYC codes. Ensure all engagements adhere to MSK Corporate procurement guidelines using Unifier contracts or purchase order standards.

  • Ensure all projects adhere to budgets to include managing project commitments, change orders, and payments.

  • Provide weekly, accurate, financial position reports to the Director (Budget, Total Commitments, Total Paid, Total Payables, Available Balance)

  • Run departmental procurement request process to include purchase requisitions for supplies and services.

  • Are responsible to review and approve all departmental purchase requisitions for supplies, services, and capital expenditures.

  • Obtain supportive documentation for purchases, to include: specifications, proposals, bid documentation, and sole source justifications, in conformance with MSK Procurement Policies and Procedures and MSKCC Signature Authority Guidelines.

  • Manage and support (2) residential maintenance associates(RMA) whom generate work orders for maintenance requests and process purchase requisitions for purchase of supplies and services for the department.

  • Provide RMA staff updates regarding adherence and changes in policy, regulatory, environment and/or departmental policy and procedures.

  • Assist in training of RMA staff in new technologies.

  • Manage work orders activity requests, service staff as they relate to residential operations, implement and recommend improvements in work order data generation, best business practices, and processes.

  • Manage residential maintenance process workflows to include those within the property management application (Yardi) and corporate procurement application (Coupa).

You Need:

  • Master’s Degree Business Administration

  • 2-4 years of experience

  • Staff management, financial reporting, corporate procurement, construction project management within real estate property management or hospitality sectors

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration

  • 7-10 years of experience

  • Staff management, financial reporting, corporate procurement, construction project management within real estate property management or hospitality sectors
