MSK is seeking a Clinical Systems Project Manager to lead our Interactive Patient Systems project. In this role the Clinical Systems Project Manager provides leadership and direction for projects in support of the defined portfolio of Health Informatics projects and initiatives. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for the system design requirements, and collaboration with all respective project teams, to support the continuous enhancement of each of the projects, within the designated Health Informatics project portfolio.
You Will Also:
Provide oversight to Health Informatics, IT, and clinical teams to ensure that daily operations are compliant with MSK information systems and information security policies
Manage and provides direction for all projects within portfolio of direct responsibility, and interdependent projects across the spectrum of Clinical Care and Informatics
Establish best practices for the system teams in areas including change control management, end user support, downtime planning, and intradepartmental communications
Consult with clinical, Health Informatics, strategy and operations leadership including those of Ambulatory operations, Pharmacy, Radiology, Clinical Laboratory, Pathology as well as Nursing Informatics on issues related to the assigned project portfolio
Provide regular updates and reporting on project status across Health Informatics, Information Systems, and other Leadership Committee meetings
Outline project requirements and resources needed to comprehensively address all components needed for a successful implementation
Develop and maintains strong partnerships to enable open and timely communication to ensure effective project management
Provide detailed technical and functional input as well as the plans for interfaces and integrated systems
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information
Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational

Adept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situations
Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
4-7 years experience with clinical systems
Experience with Interactive Patient Systems highly desired
