We are seeking aProject Coordinatorfor theDepartment of Surgeryto assist with EMR reconciliation. Under the guidance of the Administrative Managers, the Project Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of departmental efforts in maintaining billing and documentation compliance.
In addition, as a Project Coordinator, you will:
Will be assigned multiple documentation and related billing projects and makes recommendations based on thorough analyses with the goal of documentation and billing process improvements resulting in revenue enhancement and increased compliance.
Meet with new faculty to reinforce the proper way to document billing; monitor new faculty non-billables.
Prepare required weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly administrative reports adhering to departmental guidelines regarding frequency, timeliness, structure and content.
Coordinate projects from front line or directs appropriate staff as applicable.
Proactively propose and develop methodologies to fulfill programmatic needs and reviews with the Administrative Managers as needed.
Willing to take action and eager to adopt new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with healthcare industry and hospital operations.
Knowledge of medical knowledge Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
