Physician Assistant – Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service to provide comprehensive care to meet the medical and psychosocial needs of our patients, implement and evaluate standards, and participate in research necessary to establish exemplary, evidence-based care.

You Will

  • First and Second Assist for Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Service Operative Cases

  • See Inpatient Consults and assist with inpatient needs

  • See Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Outpatients in both an independent a shared capacity with MDs as well as assist with outpatient procedures

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide care for medical patients

  • Ensure the delivery of exemplary care and foster an environment that centers on the needs of patients and their families

  • Serve as a clinical expert and resource providing education and consultation to healthcare team members

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, implementation of patient education, and clinical support programs

Qualifications needed are:

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program

  • NCCPA certification

  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience as a PA is preferred

  • BLS certification

Hours: 4 days 10 Hour Shifts Monday-Saturday, Flex Day Shifts
