About This Role:
The Patient Care Technician ensures the care, comfort and satisfaction of our patients and their families by using clinical knowledge as well as clear and concise communication to assist in resolving any patient care related issues while working in close collaboration with entire clinical team and under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse. These duties include ensuring that patients and family members are assisted in a timely, efficient and courteous manner and handling acutely ill patients in stressful situations. Taking Vitals, Phlebotomy, EKGs, collection of specimens, assisting with procedures, basic computer and data entry skills are required.
Successful applicants must be professional, possess strong communication skills, take an analytical approach to problem solving; enjoy working as part of a team, and exhibit initiative.
Only candidates with the strongest relevant experience will be considered.
7:00pm – 7:00am Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
What You Need:
Required: High School diploma or equivalency
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Required: At Least one(1) year of strong patient care and venipuncture experience
Preferred:Five (5) or more years of strong patient care, customer service and leadership experience
Preferred: Certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant or comparable training program
