About This Role

The Pediatrics Nursing Assistant performs assigned patient care tasks and other related unit duties, defined and delegated under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Our ideal candidate is a licensed nursing professional and will be accountable for providing care in order to maintain the patient’s physical and emotional well being.

Responsibilities: Accurately performs activities of daily living (ADLs): feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking) and continence, communicates effectively with patient/family, physicians, the interdependent team and other disciplines regarding the care of the patient. Complies with regulatory requirements, patient safety requirements, infection control practices, and other established practice standards, policies and procedures. Provides customer service excellence by understanding the needs of all customers (i.e. patients, families, and staff) and meeting needs in a timely manner.

Schedule: 12 hour night shift – 7:00pm – 7:30am Monday through Friday with Weekend Rotation

What You Need


  • Required: High School diploma or equivalency

  • Preferred:Some college and training from an accredited Nursing/Medical Assistant Program


  • Preferred: two(2) or more years of strong patient care experience in a hospital or long term care setting with a focus on ADLs

  • Only applicants with the strongest relevant experience will be considered
