Koch Center for Cancer Care). Performs a variety of M.R. imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.
Please note that this is a MRI technologist working alongside Radiation Therapist(s) in the department of Radiation Oncology to aid in Simulation and/or Treatment for radiation therapy. It requires critical thinking, innovation and interdepartmental teamwork with anesthesia, surgeons, therapists and physicists.
Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.
New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT registration (MRI), and MRI certification or ARMRIT certification.
- Work hours will be Monday through Friday, hours to be determined. Flexibility is required.
Please note, as an MRI Tech for Radiation Oncology you will also rotate at the main hospital.
