Job Description

We are a nationally recognized leader in Oncology Rehabilitation. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, we offer Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation services to our patients being treated at MSK. Comprehensive rehabilitation services are available throughout an individual’s continuum of care from treatment to survivorship.

Our exceptional team of rehabilitation experts includes Physiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Rehabilitation Assistants who collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve our patients’ well-being. Our therapy team has extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of cancer rehabilitation and has been recognized both nationally and internationally. In addition, our extensive line of clinical care includes specialty areas in pediatrics, lymphedema, pelvic floor therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. MSK Rehabilitation is dedicated to providing exceptional patient and family experiences and support throughout their care continuum.

You will:

TheInpatient Occupational Therapy Managerwill partner and assist the Director of Rehabilitation in ensuring inpatient occupational therapy clinical programming and operations function smoothly. This role is integral in providing leadership direction to a large team of direct and in-direct reports, in addition to collaborating with other Rehabilitation Managers and Administration to achieve high-level strategic initiatives. A talent to build effective teams, direct and drive results, and make quality decisions particularly when faced with complex and ambiguous situations are a few key attributes to success. You will partner with the Director to build annual budgets and forecasts.

You are:

  • Invested in cultivating innovation for strategic alignment with MSK mission and goals

You have:

  • Master of Occupational Therapy degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required

  • 4-7 years hands on occupational therapy experience required, preferably in a cancer or major hospital setting

  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in acute care and/or oncology experience

Location: The position is based at our Main Campus, 1275 York Avenue, on the Upper East Side.

Hours: Monday – Friday, weekend subject to needs, 8 hours per day. Must be flexible in terms of start and end times from 7:15a-6p (subject to change).
