The aim of the Flow Cytometry Core Facility is to facilitate and help advance the scope and quality of Cancer Research at MSK by providing investigators advanced instrumentation and high-level technical and scientific expertise in multi-dimensional Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting.
We are currently seeking a Flow Cytometry Technician to assist an exciting team of scientific and technologically-driven staff in basic operation of flow instrumentation.

Operate cell sorters
Perform daily startup and shutdown of flow instrumentation
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of flow instrumentation
Perform Quality Control in all Cell Sorters, Analyzers and other required instrumentation
Assist staff in organizing and maintaining lab reagents and consumables
Perform basic record keeping of lab inventory and cell sorting reports
Assist other staff in other basic administrative tasks as requested
Have the opportunity to learn from a team of highly specialized flow cytometrists and to be involved in all R&D projects the Core Facility is involved in.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of Flow Cytometry experience.#LI-SB1
