Job Details:

The Community Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role to ensure the success of programming and community based research focused on improving the health of Arab communities including the AMBER (Arab American Breast Cancer Education and Referral Program) project . The coordinator assists in addressing priorities and concerns of the community, as established by the community itself and the Service, by strengthening, and supporting community outreach and community based research within the Arab population, and executing numerous program and research activities. The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing linkages and for providing education, recruiting for studies, developing interventions, and patient navigation services based on the needs of the population.

You need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with 2 or more years experience involving public health, community outreach, working with Arab populations and/or related experience.

  • Must be fluent in spoken Arabic.

  • Strongly prefer candidate with the ability to read Arabic.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Computer literacy and the ability to perform routine and some moderately difficult tasks without direct supervision.


  • Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
