Administrative Assistant, Service Chief
The Rehabilitation Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center provides physiatry, physical therapy and occupational therapy in outpatient and inpatient settings.We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Service Chief of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Director of Rehabilitation.
Savvy at managing complex calendars.
An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications.

Provide administrative support to the Service Chief and Director, as well as support the faculty of the service as necessary.
Perform various clerical duties and administrative duties, including but not limited to calendar management, organizing travel arrangements, fellowship program support, processing reimbursements, coordinating meetings, meeting minutes to contribute to the smooth operations of the department.
Prepare/produce documents including memos, correspondence, reports, presentations, and manuals as required.
Complete required paperwork/communication tools for department.
Answer assigned phone lines and direct calls; use correct telephone techniques and procedures when receiving and making calls; cross-cover other lines as assigned.
Assist and participates in service projects.
Use your strong customer service and multi-tasking abilities to support a practice by providing administrative support to the clinical team.
Bachelor’s degree preferred plus one year of experience
Two to four years of related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong prioritization, attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills
