An experiencedClinical Lab Technologist IIIwho is a self starter and enjoys working independently.
Perform automated and manual laboratory testing, quality assurance procedures and related functions in the clinical laboratory.
Collaborate and interact closely with your peers and other members of the MSK clinical team.
Understand and maintain regulatory requirements.
Work closely with Administration and MSK laboratory management to ensure that the laboratory is meeting the needs of the Center.
Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Science, or Biology)
Minimum one year of accredited laboratory training with rotations in Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank.
Minimum 6 years relevant experience as a Generalist – extensive Hematology experience is a must
Computer experience, in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office applications
New York State Clinical Laboratory License required
ASCP certification preferred
M-F, 11 AM - 7 PM with the possibility of rotating weekends as we continue to grow and expand in Bergen.
