Job Details:

The Office of Research and Project Administration (ORPA), is seeking a Senior Manager of Clinical Research Finance Revenue Management to join their growing team.

As the Sr. Manager, you will:

  • Manage the strategic design and development of the Clinical Research Revenue Management group within the Clinical Research Finance unit of ORPA.

  • Provide financial leadership and support in compliance with all institutional, sponsor guidelines and federal regulations for clinical research and management of post award Clinical Research Finance.

  • Direct and supervise a team and ensure timely and accurate billing, collection and tracking of outstanding external clinical trial revenue and internal recovery.

  • Provide managerial and compliance oversight of the billing and reconciliation processes including the invoicing and revenue management of all industry and non-industry funded projects.

  • Collaborate with Clinical Research Administration (CRA) and department staff, Research and Technology Management (RTM) division leadership, the Research Fund Management team, the CR Contracting team, and the Department of Finance to ensure complete, comprehensive and accurate billing reconciliation and revenue management.

  • Support investigators and study teams conducting clinical trials. Maintain a clinical trial management system (CTMS) and provide clinical research infrastructure/services.

  • Ensure the most professional, organized, efficient and appropriate workflow for all processes related to the financial management of clinical research in an environment that encourages staff development, continuous improvement, and the highest quality service.

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred, and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

  • Clinical research financial management and oversight experience including, but not limited to clinical trial budgets and agreements, invoicing, and fiscal management is strongly preferred.

  • Prior management experience.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
