For the 27th year, MSK has been named a top hospital for cancer by U.S. News & World Report. We are proud to be on Becker’s Healthcare list as one of the 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare in 2016, as well as Glassdoor’s annual Employees’ Choice Awards 2017. We’re treating cancer, one patient at a time. Join us and make a difference every day.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Technician to work closely with a Senior Research Scientist on the high-throughput discovery and biophysical characterization of T cell receptors specific for cancer-associated antigens. A primary aim of the research group is to develop adoptive T cell immunotherapies that can be rapidly translated into the clinic to treat cancer. Thus, all members will gain unique experience in bench-to-bedside translation.

Be comfortable operating common lab equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes and thermo cyclers and willing to learn to operate more specialized equipment like flow cytometers and real-time PCR instruments.
Prepare common laboratory reagents like buffers, media.
A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related major is required and at least one-year experience in basic laboratory skills is preferred or Master’s.
